Working experience and occupation(s) during the past 10 years Mr Ronald Lim has more than 36 years of experience in the banking and finance industry. From November 2009 to October 2011, Mr Lim was Advisor to RGE Pte Ltd, a resource-based and manufacturing group in the paper and pulp, palm oil and oil and gas industries, and was responsible primarily for advising on human capital management matters. Mr Lim was with United Overseas Bank Limited from March 1973 to November 2009. During his time with United Overseas Bank Limited, Mr Lim held three major positions. His last held position was as Executive Director and Division Head of Commercial Banking and he was responsible for the business plans, budget, sales and marketing activities of the Branches Commercial Credit and subsequently, of the Business Banking Division. He also held the role of Head of Branches Division, during which he was responsible for managing the network of United Overseas Bank's Singapore branches and its delivery channels, and Head of Human Resources, during which he was responsible for, among others, strategic human resources initiatives, recruitment, performance management system, training and development and industrial relations.
